- The Big Help Out – 9th June 20241st Llanfairpwll Scouts took part in the Big Help Out again in 2024. A group of Adult Volunteers, Explorers/ Young Leaders, Scouts, a Cub and two Beavers worked together with Frankie and Elis from Anglesey Sea Zoo to tackle an area of beach on the Menai Strait. This area had some particularly large pieces of rubbish that had been there a long time and were difficult to clear. The group collected 9 bags of rubbish together with several huge heavy items given a combined weight in excess of 100kg – this all took place in rainy conditions but thankfully everyone…

- Campsite CaretakingWhile there’s been no face to face Scouting at the Talwrn site we’ve still had to maintain keep the site as though it were being used.
- Llanfairpwll in LockdownSince face-to-face Scouting had to be stopped due to COVID-19, some of our groups have found alternative ways to meet. Llanfairpwll Beavers, Cubs and Scouts have all been busy with weekly meetings and activities, making the best of not being able to meet in person.
- How have I been Scouting during lockdown?COVID-19 has been hard for all of us and I’ve very much been missing my outdoor hobbies during our lockdown. But I have found ways to carry on my Scouting whilst confined to our homes…
