District Lead Volunteer
Rob Evans
Rob has overall responsibility for the District. He approves all activities. It is his role to ensure the district runs effectively and that Scouting develops in accordance with the rules and policies of The Scout Association so that young people can benefit from good quality scouting.
District Youth Commissioner
Vacancy
As a member of the District Leadership Team, the District Youth Commissioner works in partnership with the District Commissioner and Chairperson of the District Executive Committee. Their role is to ensure that young people from 6 – 25 years are involved and engaged in every decision that shapes their Scouting experience locally and to empower young people to share their ideas and have a meaningful voice in planning, implementing and reviewing their programme and opportunities.
Trustee Board Chair
Stephen Buckley
The Chair leads the Trustee Board, ensuring that it fulfils its responsibilities within the District. The Chair will work closely with the District Commissioner to achieve the purpose of The Scout Association through the development of local Scouting, in accordance with the Policy, Organisation and Rules of The Scout Association.
District Secretary
David Johnson
The Secretary supports the Chair of the Executive Committee to ensure the smooth functioning and sound administration of the Scout District in accordance with the Policy, Organisation and Rules of The Scout Association.
District Treasurer
Noel Kerr
The Treasurer provides sound financial administration, support and information to the Executive Committee and District in accordance with the Policy, Organisation and Rules of The Scout Association.
District Appointments Secretary
Carol Johnson
The Appointments Secretary ensures that the required administration is carried out for the District Appointments Advisory Committee.
Local Training Manager
Vacancy
Responsible for the management of all aspects of the training / learning process for adults within the District including the recommendation of the award of Wood Badges. Works closely with other volunteers involved in volunteer training across the Area.
