COVID-19 may have stopped us all from meeting up in real life, but Scouting across Anglesey is more alive than ever! Groups across the island have been joining online meetings and earning badges at home, as well as taking part in events such as the Hike To The Moon and #CampAtHome! Here’s a sneak peek at what some groups have been up to:

1st Llangefni Cubs have been very busy these past few weeks: they’ve cared for the planet by taking part in Earth hour, got to know each other showing off their talents, honed their survival skills buy building some awesome dens, and exercised their bodies and minds making and running assault courses.

Last week, to show their support to the community, Cubs were set the challenge of making posters with messages for key workers thanking them for all their hard work. Yet again they didn’t disappoint, our posters will be displayed in the local supermarket for all key workers to see.

1st Llanfairpwll Scouts have been having regular Zoom meetings, where they’re given a task to complete for each Friday, from creating Street / Wall Art, to making model viruses, ransom notes, photo ID quiz, and whatever else they want to do that is fun and Scouty! Check out the work they’ve done:
