How does the scheme work?
We know that kids grow quickly and they grow out of their uniforms, even quicker! That’s why we have a District Uniform Bank. Parents donate uniforms or we source them from elsewhere and we recycle them. It’s a double win – we help save the planet and in the process save you money!
We have a small stock of shirts and jumpers and other uniform items available at a reasonable cost. We launder and press all items so they are ready to wear. We ask for a donation to cover the costs of running the scheme – all the proceeds go towards buying more stock.
In addition, we do “no cost swaps”! For example, if you have Beaver jumper, you can swap it for a Cub jumper (Stock permitting of course).
